Huda unveils latest honey moisturiser from Wishful

Huda Kattan has unveiled the latest addition to her Wishful skincare line – the Honey Whip Peptide "wonder cream" containing one of her favourite ingredients, honey.

“Honey is one of the most delicious skincare ingredients, especially as it perfectly plumps and hydrates, so I’ve whipped up a powerful new cream moisturiser loaded with restorative properties to sweeten your skincare routine," the beauty entrepreneur said.

The Honey Whip Peptide launch follows on from the introduction of the Honey Balm Jelly moisturiser last summer. The new product contains manuka honey, peptides, collagen and cica, promising to deliver moisture that lasts up to 30 hours.

In addition Wishful has added collagen to the formula to reinforce the skin's barrier and help plump and strengthen the skin.

The product was launched after Kattan and the Wishful team researched the skincare market and discovered that even if a product contained collagen, it didn’t immediately mean an improved complexion. They concluded that instead, the key to a plump, even skin tone, was to pair collagen with strategic skincare ingredients such as peptides and natural humectants. 

Wishful's original Honey Balm Jelly moisturiser is a “jellified” balm that boosts skin luminosity and visibly reduces pores, and the team wanted to create a complementary texture for customers who prefer a creamier, whipped emulsion.

The Wishful skincare range is available at retailers including Cult Beauty, Feelunique, ASOS, Selfridges and Boots as well as via's Huda's own channels.
