In-depth: a look at Cosmoss by Kate Moss

Kate Moss has today unveiled her hotly anticipated beauty and wellness brand Cosmoss by Kate Moss, which has been inspired by the supermodel and style icon's new-found focus on self-care and her deep-rooted sense of spirituality.

Excitement at the launch has reached near fever-pitch as the previously fiercely private Moss has emerged to front the brand, giving interviews and creating content for her own and Vogue's social media channels.

While she is one of the best known faces in British fashion, Moss's voice was largely unheard until recently when she broke cover with an appearance on iconic radio show Desert Island Discs, in which she discussed her longevity and also lifted the lid on some unedifying experiences early in her career. The PR campaign for Cosmoss followed soon after.

While still an in-demand model, Kate Moss has diversified her career building a brand around her iconic image and industry experience. In 2016 Moss, she she set up her own talent agency with a focus on the wellbeing of her models with her daughter Lila as one of her first signings.

This marked the start of a shift for Moss, who had been known for her partying lifestyle while living in London. She has now moved to the Cotswolds full-time and has discovered new interests in gardening, flower pressing and wild water swimming.

This year she has taken her personal brand to another level with the launch of Cosmoss by Kate Moss, based around self-care rituals for dawn, day and dusk containing sustainably sourced, vegan and cruelty free skincare and teas. The packaging takes its cues from the mystical mood of the brand and nods to Moss's love of all things decadent and vintage.

A mood-boosting mist created with carefully chosen essential oils to "create a special ritual for body and spirit". Acting on olfactory receptors to bring emotional balance and provide a sense of inner peace.
