US-based beauty brand Bath & Body Works has opened at Westfield London, marking its first standalone store in the region.

The new 2,357 sq ft space features the brand’s premium range of beauty products, from bath and bodycare to candles.

It is located directly opposite Sephora and builds on a host of successful openings and expansions at the shopping centre over the last year, including Space NK, Rituals and PureSeoul.

For over 20 years, Bath & Body Works has been dedicated to creating covetable candles and indulgent bath and body formulas, quickly becoming a shopping centre staple in the US.

The brand's first standalone store at Westfield London strengthens its commitment to the UK market, having previously launched at NEXT online and through concession-style spaces in its stores.

The opening comes as Westfield London develops its beauty and wellness offer further with the introduction of London-based private pharmacy group Prince Pharmacy, which is expected to open at the retail destination later this year in Q4.

Kate Orwin, Leasing Director UK at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: "We've experienced a strong year so far in leasing at Westfield London, with increasing demand for upsizing and new store space as brands look to expand in strategic locations.

"This momentum builds upon the success of 2023, during which we welcomed over 80 new store openings across both Westfield centres. We anticipate further growth in the beauty and wellness sectors throughout this year, as we continue in our commitment to creating best in class destinations and customer experiences."
