Diptyque has opened its newly remodelled Spitalfields boutique, marking the brand's first UK store to feature the new retail concept.

The Spitalfields boutique is currently the largest Diptyque store in London, first opening in November 2018. The store has now been reimagined to create a marriage between its Parisian roots and the East London location.

Described by Diptyque, the new store is the "ultimate destination to discover the Diptyque universe" and houses the brand's full product catalogue, including candles, fragrances, the Decoration collection and refillable fragrance service. It will also host private consultations.

At the entrance, customers will find an industrial British façade alongside a French mosaic, which has been designed by an atelier in Paris. The boutique also features brick-cladded walls, a minimalistic fireplace and locally sourced decorative objects to pay homage to the brand’s birthplace in Paris.

The store separates product categories into fragrance, home and bodycare, aiming to create a more seamless shopping experience for consumers across the store.

At the end of May, Diptyque opened a a two-week pop-up store on Sloane Street, paving the way for its new permanent Chelsea store set to launch later this year. The new UK flagship will open in October and will be the largest store in the UK, featuring the brand's full catalogue.
