In Pictures: Molton Brown's revamped Regent Street flagship
Molton Brown has opened its newly refurbished flagship store on London's Regent Street, creating an interactive space that celebrates the brand's roots and champions sustainability.
Created with design agency Dalziel & Pow, Molton Brown's new store was inspired by its original 1970s hair salon on South Molton Street. The space hopes to offer a calming, botanical and sophisticated atmosphere with a contemporary twist.
In-store iPads allow customers to learn more about the brand's products through augmented reality technology, with QR codes also dotted around the store to offer access to behind-the-scenes content.
In addition, a new Fragrance Finder experience allows shoppers to match their personality to a Molton Brown scent.
The store also includes a personal gifting service, where customers can engrave fragrance bottles or stamp initials into a Molton Brown twill pouch. Along with a salon for private consultations and intimate gatherings, a fragrance discovery playground to sample scents and a lounge area to seek advice.
Incorporating sustainability into the Regent Street store, Molton Brown has added a number of eco-friendly design elements including props sourced from charity shops and plants grown using a sustainable method called hydroponics.
The store also features the brand's full refill collection and Return Recycle Reward scheme, which allows customers to bring back Molton Brown plastic bottles for 10% off their next purchase.
Steve Clark, Senior Director Hotel and Retail Sales at Molton Brown, said: "We are delighted to have re-designed our flagship store on Regent Street. Our aim is not simply to sell you something, but to enrich your life in some small way; starting with the feeling you get from a beautifully unique space, experiencing something new and walking out with a smile on your face.’’
