Neal's Yard Remedies has teamed up with premium mixer brand The London Essence Co. and Dalloway Terrace, the popular restaurant located at The Bloomsbury Hotel in London, to create an afternoon tea experience that champions biodiversity.

The partnership showcases the commitment shared by the three parties to "uphold ethical and sustainable practices in their industries, while championing the preservation of British biodiversity."

Neal's Yard Remedies has been a pioneer in natural and organic health and beauty since 1981 while The Bloomsbury Hotel, home of The Dalloway, is dedicated to implementing sustainable measures, and in 2022 received the gold award from Green Tourism and the platinum award from Greengage.

Throughout the summers The Dalloway’s drink partner London Essence will be installing its world leading 'Freshly Infused' dispense system, which aims to reduce glass waste – a positive step in promoting more sustainable practices in the food and beverage industry.

This system will be put to use as part of the afternoon tea experience which includes a menu based around British produce and sustainably sourced ingredients with the highlight being a Neal's Yard Remedies' exclusive organic herbal tea blend, Lemon Balm and Elderflower Biodiversitea.

The 'bee-friendly' botanical infusion includes a relaxing blend of elderflower, lime flower, fennel seed, camomile and lemon balm. Plus, if guests are looking for a little more punch with their beverage choices, The London Essence Company is offering its range of exquisite mixers full of beautifully balanced botanicals for a delicious seasonal cocktail menu, with the addition of Neal's Yard Remedies’ Organic Rosebuds in the Rose & Jasmine non-alcoholic cocktail.

In support of Neal’s Yard Remedies' pioneering Save the Bees campaign, which has raised over £300,000 for bee-friendly causes through donations since 2011, £1 from every afternoon tea will be donated to The Bumblebee Conservation Trust, the only charity dedicated wholly to saving the UK’s bumblebees.

Anabel Kindersley, Co-Owner of Neal’s Yard Remedies said of the partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with Dalloway Terrace to create this limited-edition Afternoon Tea that not only delights the sensaees but supports our commitment to promoting biodiversity and protecting our pollinators, with £1 from every Afternoon Tea going towards The Bumblebee Conversation Trust, who are dedicated to supporting the UK’s bumblebees and their habitats.

"With a floral backdrop inspired by some of the pollinator-friendly plants grown within our organic gardens and meadows at our eco-factory in Dorset, we hope to inspire guests to learn more about the importance of biodiversity and join us in our mislssion to create a healthier planet."Nes
