Next has opened its first store in the UK to combine home, fashion and beauty under one location. The new 94,478 sq ft department store is spread across three floors at the Atria Watford shopping centre.

Next relocated its existing clothing store at Atria Watford, owned by property company SGS, to the retail unit next to its Beauty & Home store, which opened in October 2020. The new location also features a 1270 sq ft Mamas & Papas concession, with additional room for potential future concessions.

The location also features Next's new logo, which was first introduced last month. The new logo is already used across corporate statements and new store fronts, such as the Oxford Street flagship.

The store also has an adjoining Victoria’s Secret, in which Next owns a UK majority stake.

Last week, Next announced it had signed a 10-year lease for a new store in Manchester's Trafford Centre, expected to open in November 2022. The new store will significantly upsize the brand’s presence in the centre, bringing its fashion, beauty and home offering together in a single 65,000 sq ft store.
