In Pictures: Sephora lands at Westfield Stratford
Sephora has opened its new store at Westfield Stratford, marking the retailer's second location in the UK.
The store’s façade is wrapped in Sephora's iconic black and white stripes, whilst the "ultra modern" interior follows the distinctive codes of its first store with soft geometric shapes, ambient lighting and textured finishes.
The space showcases an assortment of products and personal services from 125 brands across makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance and wellness. This includes familiar favourites such as Benefit Cosmetics and Fenty Beauty, as well as exclusives like Haus Labs, One Size, Salt & Stone and Naked Sundays, amongst others.
Beauty categories are separated across the space, with illuminated overhead signs highlighting the different areas - makeup, haircare, skincare, women fragrances and men fragrances.
Customers can also find curated displays dotted around the store, such as 'The Next Big Thing' and 'Hot on Social', which showcase a variety of popular beauty brands and products.
A 'Grand Beauty Hub' also takes a premium position in-store, offering a range of beauty services and treatments performed by in-house experts. This includes professional makeup services, as well as express skin treatments and hair styling from brands including Elemis, Dermalogica and Dyson.
Other highlight services include a Sephora UK Lip Bar, The Benefit Brow Bar and fragrance engraving.
Checkouts are located at the rear of the store, separated into staffed and self-service counters.
Sephora originally left the UK market in 2005, having opened a handful of stores. In 2021, as a prelude to its return, the retailer acquired Feelunique in a £132 million deal. It then took over Feelunique's former website and launched in the UK online in October 2022 and in-store at Westfield London in March 2023.
The global retailer also recently announced its intention to open additional locations across the UK.
