Japanese beauty brand Shiseido has announced the opening of its first UK pop-up, running from 1-9 October at Covent Garden in London.
To celebrate the brand's 150th anniversary, the pop-up is hosting a series of creative workshops, expert masterclasses, panel talks and influencer meet and greets.
The pop-up features events including a Menopause In Conversation with Lisa Snowdon and Dr Naomi, Face Yoga Tutorial, Cher Webb Skincare and Makeup Masterclass, Ikebana Flower Arranging and Skincare Stories with Caroline Hirons, Dija Ayodele and Nathalie Broussard.
The events are £25 per person and redeemable against a Shiseido purchase. Visitors to the pop-up will also receive a 'goodie bag' with selection of Sheiseido's products.
All events will be livestreamed online at Sheiseido for those unable to attend in-person.
Charles De Montalivet, Country General Manager for Shiseido UK & Ireland, said: “Shiseido is celebrating 150 years of beauty innovation this year so we wanted to mark this monumental milestone by creating an immersive and sensorial brand experience for our consumers. A physical pop-up seemed the perfect opportunity to showcase not only the award-winning products we have within Shiseido but also the incredible heritage and innovation. The brand is hosting a series of exciting, educational events and expert masterclasses for consumers to attend, enjoy and discover the unique world of Shiseido."
Founded in 1872, Shiseido is a Japanese multinational cosmetic company. The brand's product categories span skincare, makeup, bodycare, haircare and fragrances.
In addition to its 150th anniversary, this year has also seen the opening of its design and creative company. The Toyko-based company is responsible for Shiseido's total branding communication, from packaging design to shopper retail experience.
