indu champions teens by teaming up with The Brit School students
Breakthrough beauty brand indu, known for its gentle yet effective formulas specifically designed for teen skin, continues its mission to champion teenagers with its latest initiative – a 12-month partnership with The Brit School.
The partnership sees indu team up with the talent-harvesting state-funded school, based in Croydon, known for its former pupils including Adele, Raye and Lola Young. The initiative aims to inspire young people to pursue the creative arts.
Aaron Chatterley, indu co-founder and Executive Chair, said: "To be able to partner with The Brit School in this way is a real honour for indu.
"We are all about celebrating teen talent, so this aligns perfectly with our core values. It’s fantastic to know that our contribution will go a little way to helping enable the school to continue the incredible job they do, providing arts education to such a wide and diverse community. We’re really excited to be aligned with such a prestigious and successful school."
The indu teen committee is at the core of the brand, where its members are involved in all creative processes, offering insights into what the community wants and needs.
As part of the partnership, the brand will offer The Brit School students a chance to get involved with the creative process as well as makeup masterclasses for Production Arts and Musical Theatre students and placement opportunities.
The grand prize? indu will offer one student a paid summer internship at indu HQ, where they will have the chance to contribute to a marketing campaign, supply creative ideas and take part in production planning.
Plus, £40k worth of indu products, from refillable cleansers and moisturisers to colour cosmetics, will also be donated, to support the students across the various creative streams at the school, from theatre, film and dance to music, visual arts and fashion.
Alexa Cruickshank, Director of Communications at The Brit School, added: "When indu came to The BRIT School, we discovered the harmonious synergy of the values and philosophies we both share.
"Our students are ambitious, creative and responsible individuals and we believe through experimenting with products they will be able to shine confidently and express themselves for their future careers in the creative and performing arts."
This partnership follows indu’s recent commitment to supporting teens in sports with its Teen Athlete Sponsorship Programme. As part of this, the brand has signed 13 up-and-coming teen athletes.
