indu targets teen athletes with new sponsorship programme
Teen beauty brand indu has launched a new Teen Athlete Sponsorship Programme, helping to empower young sports stars and promote active teen lifestyles.
Whether a world championship surfer, an U18s squad footballer, a competitive dancer or anyone in between, the programme aims to empower teens from all backgrounds.
It will support young athletes in their sporting journey, covering associated costs including competition entry fees, travel expenses and any kit or equipment they might need.
The sponsorship programme comes after indu found that 97% of teens would feel more empowered if they saw a brand supporting other teens in their hobbies and talents.
The brand’s chosen athletes will serve as inspirational role models for teens everywhere, as well as driving awareness and backing up-and-coming talent in a raw, authentic way.
Among the first athletes to join the programme are International Gromsearch Surfing Champion Lukas Skinner, Captain of Arsenal Women's U21 Squad Omotara Junaid, 2x British National surfing champion Lauren Sandland and 3x British Outdoor 300m champion Shiloh Omotosho.
Aaron Chatterley, co-founder of indu, said: "As a father of twin teenage girls myself, I’ve always been passionate about sports and encouraging my own girls to keep active and involved in sports, as I feel it’s so absolutely critical for their own mental and physical health.
"So for indu, it’s a real privilege to be able to both sponsor and support these up-and-coming athletes, whilst amplifying their achievements and stories to inspire and encourage other teens to continue with whatever sport they enjoy."
Launched in 2023, indu is formulated for teens, with teens, creating products suitable for all skin tones and types.
