JD Sports to step up attack on regulator

The competition watchdog is expected to come under fire again this week as JD Sports kicks back against its findings over its £90 million deal for Footasylum.

Last month the Competition and Markets Authority said that it was considering reversing JD Sport’s takeover of Footasylum because of concerns that shoppers could receive fewer discounts, a worse service and less choice in stores and online.
