Jo Malone London names new Global Brand President
Jo Malone London has named Jo Dancey as Global Brand President, tasked with overseeing the business alongside other Estée Lauder-owned fragrance brands Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle.
Dancey brings more than 20 years of luxury beauty experience, driving brand desirability, strengthening brand equity, and anticipating evolving consumer preferences.
She has served as SVP Global General Manager at Jo Malone London since 2022, where she has strategically expanded the luxury brand’s global presence, overseeing several high-profile global campaigns and initiatives.
Having first joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 2000, she has also held leadership roles across finance, operations, retail strategy, omnichannel innovation, and store design.
In her new role, Dancey will continue to set new benchmarks in luxury, delivering "immersive" and "memorable" experiences for its consumers worldwide.
The appointment forms part of The Estée Lauder Companies' new organisational structure and executive team, as the business more than doubles job cuts to as many as 7,000 worldwide as part of a cost-saving overhaul.
It plans to increase job losses from 3,000 to between 5,800 and 7,000 as it braces for tariff increases amid fears of a global trade war sparked by US President Donald Trump.
"Through a combination of elevating top talent internally and recruiting externally, we will make decisions with greater speed and agility, breaking down silos and allowing us to develop a leadership bench for the future," said Stéphane de La Faverie, President and CEO at The Estée Lauder Companies, last week.
