Kama Ayurveda partners with dermatology GP Dr Pyal for 'Ritual Residency'
Following the success of its debut Ritual Residency in September, Kama Ayurveda is continuing to reimagine its retail spaces as experiential hubs with the launch of its second UK residency - this time in collaboration with Dermatology GP Dr Pyal Patel.
Running from 12 November to 24 December, the six-week programme will take place across the brand’s Notting Hill flagship and its Harrods boutique.
The partnership sees Dr Pyal, who specialises in integrative dermatology, bring her medical-meets-holistic expertise to the brand through workshops, social tutorials and a new treatment created exclusively with Kama Ayurveda: The Cortisol-Reliever Glow Treatment. Designed to calm the nervous system, balance cortisol levels and restore lasting luminosity, the ritual bridges modern dermatological insight with Ayurveda’s ancient understanding of harmony between mind, body and spirit.
"Stress and cortisol profoundly impact the skin, accelerating inflammation, collagen breakdown, and pigmentation," said Dr Pyal. "What excites me about this collaboration is bridging evidence-based dermatology with the timeless principles of Ayurveda. The Kumkumadi ritual is more than skincare; it’s a restorative experience that supports skin longevity at a cellular level while grounding the mind."

The new ritual follows the same philosophy that underpinned Kama Ayurveda’s first UK residency - a collaboration with celebrity makeup artist Katie Daisy - which transformed the Notting Hill boutique into a space for immersive learning and community-building. This latest edition continues that momentum, expanding the brand’s presence into Harrods and deepening its focus on experiential wellness.
Through the Cortisol-Reliever Glow Treatment (£150), customers will experience a soothing Ayurvedic facial and foot ritual designed to address stress-driven inflammation and restore balance, both physically and emotionally. Bookings are available in-store and online throughout the six-week residency.
