Kama Ayurveda to make UK debut with new brand aesthetic
Beauty and wellness brand Kama Ayurveda is launching in the UK tomorrow (22 June), marking the brand's first expansion outside its homeland of India.
Founded by Vivek Sahni in 2002, Kama Ayurveda is an authentic Ayurvedic brand providing traditional and holistic treatments for beauty and wellness. Its products are made from pure, natural and organic ingredients.
Last year, the brand was acquired by Puig to help support Kama Ayurveda's expansion into global markets, as well as offering expertise in brand building, technology skincare and perfumery.
The upcoming UK launch will see Kama Ayurveda's existing product range evolve with reformulations and a new brand aesthetic.
The launch strategy will include education on the ancient Indian philosophy of Ayurveda, ambassadorships with Ayurvedic experts, and partnerships with retailers and bricks-and-mortar outlets within Central London.
"Kama Ayurveda’s roots lie in Kerala, the home of the oldest Ayurvedic institutions, but with its eyes and heart set on bringing this knowledge of beauty and wellness to the world, 2023 will be a huge chapter as the brand moves forward on scaling globally," the brand said in a statement.
