Kao appoints Chief Marketing Officer for global salon division
Kao has named former Henkel Vice President Christian Melcher as Global Chief Marketing Officer for its salon business.
Melcher joins Kao with over 20 years of international experience in marketing, sales and general management in the beauty and salon industry. He most recently served as Corporate Vice President D2C at Henkel.
In this newly created role, Melcher will oversee brand development, marketing, digital and communications activities for the professional salon brands, including Goldwell, KMS and Kerasilk.
He will also help to accelerate Kao’s digital and e-commerce strategies.
