Kering Beauté has named Stéphane Perrault as its new Chief Financial Officer following the division's launch last year.

Perrault joins Kering Beauté from fine spirits firm Maison Ferrand, where he had served in the same position since October 2022.

He also brings experience as CFO from French cosmetics brand La Bouche Rouge, as well as Japanese beauty group Shiseido.

In a post on LinkedIn, Perrault said: "I am pleased to announce that I am starting a new position as CFO at Kering Beauté."

The move follows a number of previous leadership appointments at Kering Beauté as it pushed into the beauty segment, including Raffaella Cornaggia as its first Chief Executive Officer.

Luxury conglomerate Kering established the beauty division last year in an effort to support its houses, namely Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato and Qeelin, as they develop their beauty businesses to become "growth drivers".

In June 2023, Kering Beauté also announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire historic high-end fragrance house Creed.

"The acquisition represents a major step for Kering Beauté,  perfectly complementing its existing portfolio, and giving the division a significant presence," Kering Beauté said at the time.

It also recently acquired a minority stake in Matière Première as part of the French fragrance brand's second round of funding.
