Kiehl's to open new flagship on Carnaby Street

Cosmetics brand Kiehl's is opening a new flagship on London's Carnaby Street in September, adding to its current estate of 32 retail locations across the capital. 

James Rickards, Managing Director of L'Oréal Luxe for the UK & Ireland, reported the news on LinkedIn, calling Carnaby Street London's "hottest and most fashionable shopping destination".

"Despite the rise of e-commerce, live shopping and now agentic commerce, nothing can replace physically experiencing a brand in that brand’s home," he commented in a LinkedIn post. 

"The human connection with our Skincare Pros, the service, the personalised consultation featuring the latest beauty tech, all in an environment that properly recalls Kiehl’s New York City apothecary heritage, so customers can fully understand the brand," he added. 

Kiehl's has been owned by the L'Oréal Group since 2000.
