Kiko Milano has brought in former Space NK Chief Commercial Officer Margaret Mitchell as Executive Vice President for North and Central Europe and Global Commercial Strategy, starting 25 August 2026.

Mitchell will report directly to Kiko Milano Chief Executive Simone Dominici. Her remit includes driving growth across France, Benelux, the Nordics, Poland, the UK and Ireland, alongside the DACH markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

She will also help shape the Italian make-up brand’s global commercial strategy across channels including travel retail and digital wholesale. Mitchell brings almost two decades of international experience spanning beauty, retail and consulting.

"Margaret brings a combination of strategic vision, commercial expertise and international experience that will be invaluable as we continue to expand globally," Dominici told WWD.

"She has a strong track record of building high-performing businesses and teams, and I’m confident she will play an important role in the next phase of our growth."

Mitchell comes to Kiko Milano after almost a decade at British premium beauty retailer Space NK. She entered the business as head of Buying in 2016, later serving as Group Buying Director, then Global Buying Director, before becoming Chief Merchandising Officer in April 2019 and Chief Commercialo Officer in June 2022.

Her responsibilities at Space NK extended across category buying and merchandising, digital trading, inventory and store operations. Her tenure coincided with a period of investment in the retailer’s physical and digital presence, including the opening of its Oxford Street flagship and launch of its first shopping app in 2025.

Space NK reported 26% year-on-year growth across November and December 2025. During Black Friday that year, the retailer recorded its largest sales week, surpassing its previous record by almost 20%.

"Kiko Milano is redefining the beauty market with its product innovation, creativity and store experience," Mitchell said. She described the role as an opportunity to introduce the brand to new customers and channels while supporting its ambition to become a global beauty leader.

Mitchell’s hiring is the latest change to Kiko Milano’s leadership team. Marcello Mastrogiacomo recently came on board as Global Executive Vice President for Brand, Communication & Media, reporting to Chief Brand Officer Drew Elliott, who joined the company from MAC Cosmetics in 2025.

Earlier this year, Kiko Milano also tapped Colombian make-up artist Marcelo Gutierrez for its first global make-up artistry creative director role. It later named Madonna as global ambassador.

The appointments follow L Catterton’s acquisition of a majority stake in Kiko Milano in 2024. Since 1989, the private equity firm has made more than 250 investments in brands across all segments of the consumer industry.
