Kylie Cosmetics to showcase new fragrance with exclusive pop-up in Manchester

Kylie Cosmetics is hosting a pop-up in Manchester this weekend to celebrate the launch of its new fragrance, Cosmic Kylie Jenner 2.0.

Taking place on 29 March, guests are invited to explore the brand's latest scent, collect free samples and enjoy pink sprinkle doughnuts.

Other experiences include a photo booth, which will generate individual aura readings to reflect personalities and energies, with the first 50 people in the queue to receive a free limited-edition gift.

Located outside the Boots store on ​Market Street, the activation will also allow consumers to enjoy a free gift with the purchase of any Cosmic Kylie Jenner 100ml Fragrance at the high street retailer.

The fragrance

Building on the success of Jenner's original Cosmic fragrance, Cosmic 2.0 opens with refreshing notes of pear accord and pink pepper essence.

As the fragrance develops, the heart notes of vanilla orchid accord and lavender essence bloom like delicate petals, infusing the scent with a soft, clean, floral sophistication - an effect the brand describes as "reminiscent of the first light breaking through the horizon".

Grounded in warmth and sensuality, the base notes of amber then linger on the skin, captivating the senses long after the dawn has passed. 

"I loved the idea of trying to capture the feeling of a new day and putting it into my next fragrance," said founder Kylie Jenner.

"Cosmic 2.0 truly does that with fresh and bright notes of pear and pink pepper, while still having the warmth of my favourite amber and vanilla notes from our original version. I’m so excited to introduce another amazing scent, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone."

Similar to the original Cosmic Kylie Jenner, the new fragrance is housed in a sculptural bottle, designed to look like a piece of art.

The chrome edition contains a reflective, mirrored finish to represent self-reflection and personal growth. Meanwhile, the outer packaging continues the theme of a new day with a peach ombre that resembles dawn.

It is available in three bottle sizes - 30ml (£35), 50ml (£44), and 100ml (£57) - as well as a travel-friendly with a 10ml pen spray (£20).
