Le Labo brings its cult-favourite fragrances to first store in Leeds

After announcing it would make its regional debut at Victoria Leeds in May, Le Labo has opened the doors to fragrance heaven at the shopping centre.

The New York-founded perfumery, owned by The Estée Lauder Company, has opened a brand new 1,500 sq ft multi-story store on Queen Victoria Street. The space reflects Le Labo’s distinctive New York City downtown aesthetic while honouring the Victorian-era architecture of the location. This sets the stage for the brand's unique, immersive experiences, where customers can engage with Le Labo's fragrances and create personalised, freshly blended perfumes.

Born in Grasse and raised in New York in 2006, Le Labo has accumulated a steadfast following for its philosophy of creating unique sensorial experiences, rooted in slow perfumery. Le Labo, meaning ‘the lab’ in French, offers products across fragrance, home and hand and body creations.

The core collection of 19 genderless perfumes will be blended to order in front of the client and select creations can be packaged with a personalised label including the date, location and a message of choice, doubling as a souvenir. Clients can also refill their fragrance in-store.

With an international presence stretching from the US to Asia and Europe, Le Labo continues to focus its expansion on premium retail destinations, with Victoria Leeds’ to join its existing portfolio of UK boutiques and luxury concessions.

It will also join several other premium brands at the northern retail destination, including Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Penhaligon's.
