Lisa Eldridge awarded MBE in New Year Honours

Makeup artist Lisa Eldridge has been named within HM The King’s New Year Honours List 2025, receiving an MBE for her services to cosmetics and fashion. 

Whether it's creating educational tutorials on YouTube, orchestrating red-carpet looks for celebrity friends or conceiving avant-garde concepts for catwalk and editorial, Eldridge has established herself as a trusted voice in beauty.

Her expertise has acquired numerous creative directorships, ambassadorial and product development roles for various beauty brands including Chanel, Shiseido and Lancome, where she currently serves as Global Creative Director.

In 2015, Eldridge added bestselling author to her achievements, publishing her first book - Face Paint: The Story of Makeup - which is described as "an exploration of the role makeup has played throughout history".

Her expertise also culminated in the highly anticipated launch of her eponymous cosmetics brand in 2019.

Her debut collection of True Velvet Lipsticks represented her impressive dexterity for colour alchemy. This was followed by an Elevated Glow Highlighter and Seamless Skin The Foundation, amongst many other new launches.

Today, she continues to push the boundaries on colour, ingredients and techniques, guiding and inspiring her community to experiment creatively and enhance their natural, unique beauty.

The New Year Honours List 2025 recognises unsung heroes who have made outstanding contributions to their communities across the UK. More than 1,200 recipients have received honours this year across all sectors.
