L'Oréal appoints Global President of Luxe Fragrance Brands

L’Oréal Group has appointed Sandrine Groslier as the new Global President of Luxe Fragrance Brands, which will see her manage eight fragrance brands across the L’Oréal portfolio.

In her new role, Groslier will oversee niche, high-end couture and lifestyle fragrances, from brands including Maison Margiela, Atelier Cologne, Viktor & Rolf, Diesel, Azzaro and Cacharel.

Groslier previously served as the Global President of Mugler Azzaro Beaute & Fashion at L’Oréal Group. In this role, she helped with the relaunch of Mugler to "transform it into one of the most edgy and desirable fashion and fragrance brands". Prior to joining L'Oréal, she was President of Fragrance and Fashion Group at Clarins.

Sandrine Groslie, newly appointed Global President of Luxe Fragrance Brands at L’Oréal, said: "The purpose of this new entity is to enrich the group's perfume expertise and to develop L’Oréal Group's mono-axis fragrance brands in a context of global explosion of the fragrance category.

"I am delighted to now take a new amazing challenge that has been offered to me within my new L’Oréal family."

Earlier this month, L'Oréal Group reported a 20.5% increase in sales to £24.2 billion (€‎27.94 billion) for the nine months to 30 September 2022. In Europe, L'Oréal's sales increased 13.7% to £7.2 billion (€‎8.4 billion), strengthening its position in the majority of countries, particularly Germany, Spain and the UK.
