L'Oreal Paris names Ariana Greenblatt Global Ambassador, targeting Gen Z
L’Oréal Paris has announced Ariana Greenblatt as its newest Global Brand Ambassador, signalling an investment in the next generation of beauty consumers. At just 16 years old, Greenblatt is the youngest ambassador in the brand’s history.
The appointment aligns with L’Oréal’s broader business imperative to evolve its ambassador portfolio to reflect a more digitally native, socially conscious consumer.
Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris Global President, said: "Ariana Greenblatt has already achieved so much in her young life and her star just keeps on rising! Throughout it all, she remains humble and grounded, while boldly sharing her talent with the world.
"She is a wonderful addition to the L’Oréal Paris family: a gifted actress with an awareness of the world around her, which makes her voice a powerful advocate of self-worth for a new generation of women."
Greenblatt's on-screen credentials - from Barbie and Avengers: Infinity War to her upcoming roles in Now You See Me Now You Don’t and Fear Street: Prom Queen - are matched by a growing off-screen profile that resonates with beauty consumers.
Ariana Greenblatt commented: "I have always enjoyed playing complex roles with emotional depth, showcasing a side to young women and girls that isn’t always seen on-screen.
"As a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, I aim to show that beauty is fearless, ageless and also lots of fun. To me, L’Oréal Paris isn’t just one of the most iconic beauty brands in the world: it’s a brand that empowers us to be unapologetically ourselves. I am ecstatic to be part of the L’Oréal Paris family and look forward to joining such talented and inspiring fellow Global Ambassadors."
Greenblatt’s ambassadorship will begin in May 2025, fronting global campaigns for Revitalift Vitamin C and Elvive Glycolic Gloss.
A native New Yorker and proud Latina, Greenblatt sees her role as an opportunity to champion representation in beauty and beyond. "She does not see herself as a role model but understands the responsibility that comes with representing young Latina women on-screen and off-screen," the brand shared. "It is her dream that more young women can voice their ambitions, find support and community, and see their dreams become reality, empowered by the global sisterhood, including the L’Oréal Paris ambassadors."
Greenblatt joins the company's roster of famous faces, including Gillian Anderson, Reneé Rapp, Viola Davis and Jane Fonda.
This follows the brand's recent appointment of Harold James as its new Global Makeup Artist, ushering in a fresh chapter for the storied Parisian beauty brand. James is known for his effortlessly elegant aesthetic, he is French after all, and his ability to channel cinematic glamour through a modern lens.
Last month, L’Oréal Group (the owner of L’Oréal Group) announced it had delivered a 4.4% increase in sales to €11.73 billion (£10 billion) for the first quarter of 2025, supported by growth across all divisions.
Sales in Europe, including the UK, rose 4.9%, against a strong prior-year comparison. However, North American sales declined 1.4% in what it called a "softening" market.
