L'Oréal Paris names Thuso Mbedu as brand ambassador
L'Oréal Paris has appointed South African actress Thuso Nokwanda Mbedu as its latest brand ambassador.
Mbedu will work with the brand as a spokesperson for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
The 31-year-old actress is known for her recent role in The Woman King, starring alongside Viola Davis, Lashana Lynch and John Boyega.
She is also recongised for her performance in South African teen drama series Is'Thunzi, for which she was awarded an International Emmy in 2017 and 2018.

In a post on Instagram, L'Oréal Paris said: "In addition to her successful international acting career, Thuso is passionate about empowering women and girls by providing them with educational resources alongside the non-profit organisation Save The Children.
"Together, we look forward to inspiring and uplifting individuals of all backgrounds to embrace their beauty, celebrate diversity and foster self-confidence."
Mbedu joins the existing line-up of L'Oréal Paris brand ambassadors, including actresses Gemma Chan, Elle Fanning and Katherine Langford.
Earlier this month, L'Oréal was named as the "world’s most valuable cosmetics brand" in Brand Finance's Cosmetics 50 2023 list, maintaining its number one position for the fourth year in a row. The beauty company's value totalled over $12 billion, compared to $11.2 billion last year.
