L’Oréal Professionnel has unveiled its first-ever cohort of Global Creative Contributors, marking a shift in how the brand collaborates with hair professionals worldwide. Rather than appointing traditional ambassadors, the new collective is positioned as a long-term creative partnership, designed to "shape the future of professional hair”.

The Global Creative Contributors bring together a diverse group of internationally recognised hairstylists, colourists, educators and editorial talents. The aim is to reflect the breadth of today’s hair industry while responding to its evolving creative, technical and cultural demands.

Claire Le Bleis, Global Brand President of L’Oréal Professionnel, said: "With the Global Creative Contributors, we partner with the industry’s most innovative and avant-garde talents worldwide - not as ambassadors, but as contributors.

"Our ambition is to explore what’s ahead of the curve and help shape the future of professional hair."

The contributors will work alongside L’Oréal Professionnel to co-develop content, education, events and professional insights, supported by the brand’s scientific and technological expertise. The initiative reflects L’Oréal Professionnel’s broader positioning as a platform for innovation.

The collective includes figures such as Ben Gregory, the UK-based session stylist and colourist as well as Cyndia Harvey, known for her inclusive approach to beauty across editorial, runway and celebrity work. Jawara Wauchope, Senior Beauty Editor-at-Large at i-D and Jack Martin, globally recognised for his advanced colour transformations and education-led approach are also part of the cohort. Digital educators, salon owners, celebrity stylists and next-generation creatives sit alongside one another, creating what the brand describes as a 360-degree view of the profession.

L’Oréal Professionnel is signalling a move away from surface-level endorsement towards deeper creative collaboration. The Global Creative Contributors will play an active role in decoding trends, highlighting professional techniques and translating innovation into practical applications for salons worldwide.
