Luna Daily appoints Global Head of Marketing
Microbiome-balancing bodycare brand Luna Daily has appointed Lizzie Newell as its new Global Head of Marketing.
Newell joins Luna Daily this week, having previously served as Associate Director of Global Brand Marketing at cosmetics brand Iconic London until August 2024.
Prior to Iconic London, she held a number of social media and marketing roles at Accessorize, Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), Soap & Glory and Paul's Boutique.
In a post on LinkedIn, Newell said: "Something has changed round here... Yes, the observant amongst you will notice that my 'open to work' profile picture is no more. That's because I am beyond excited to say that I am starting a new adventure with Luna Daily as (Global) Head of Marketing.
"I was given the opportunity to meet founder Katy Cottam just before Christmas and I fell in love with her vision, passion, and her truly brilliant brand. I knew straight away this role was 'the one' for me and hoped she felt the same. Two weeks later, here we are!"

Luna Daily launched in 2019 to give women a choice and combine bodycare with the outdated ‘feminine hygiene’ category.
Its line-up of gentle yet effective products form part of the brand's wider mission to connect women to each other and their entire bodies, with education that drives understanding and normalises the conversation around intimate care and women's health.
Having achieved a 1000% sales increase in 2023, the brand secured new investment last year to fuel further growth. The venture capital and private equity arm of Unilever joined the investment round to support Luna Daily's product expansion.
