Lush has confirmed its projected spend of £10.6 million in new shops, relocations and redesigns across the UK ahead of the New Year.

It marks a £8 million increase on the brand's announced investment in FY23.

Lush Glasgow

A majority spend of the investment comes from Lush’s new experiential flagship in Glasgow, marking the brand's biggest-ever store in Scotland.

Located on Buchanan Street, the new 20,000 sq ft flagship spans five floors and features a variety of "new and exciting" concepts.

The four days following the opening welcomed 37,000 visitors, with over 7000 bath bombs sold - equating to more than 150 every hour.

It marks the latest opening for Lush, having also recently opened new stores in Covent Garden, Teeside, Aberdeen and Kingston Upon-Thames.

Lush HairLab Brighton

However, for CEO Mark Constantine, Lush launching its first standalone HairLab in Brighton on 2 December was a "particular highlight".

The Lush Hair Lab offers a holistic approach to hairdressing and barbering, using natural hair colouring, reducing salon waste, and championing diversity with texture-specialist hair artists, quiet hours and specialist workshops.

Kasey Swithenbank, Head of Retail Stores UK&I at Lush, said: "We know that physical retail spaces contribute to lasting memories.

"At Lush, we're committed to creating spaces that contribute to our customers being able to create lasting memories with their friends and family and our blend between traditional retailing and experiential retailing highlights this."

As Lush continues to open new stores across the UK and Ireland, many new job opportunities are created, with it recently announcing over 1,000 new roles.
