Lush to launch new hair salon concept in Liverpool flagship

Lush is set to open a new hair salon concept next month, offering exclusive hair washing and styling services to customers in Liverpool.

Located at its store on Church Street, the new concept will open on 6 May 2023 and allow customers to learn about their hair type and what products and ingredients complement it best. As part of the service, customers can have their hair washed by a Lush Shampoo Therapist using one of the brand's shampoo bars.

Customers can then either self-style their own hair or have Lush’s Hair Stylist and Afro Hair Stylists finish off their desired look, using its extended and exclusive range of hair styling products.

Lush's shampoo bars were first invented by Co-founder Mo Constantine 35 years ago. Since 2005, sales of the brand's ‘naked’ (packaging-free) shampoo bars have saved 167.5 million plastic bottles.

Now anyone can come and have their hair washed, styled and take home a small but mighty product that is quite literally revolutionising the cosmetic industry."

The news follows Lush's partnership with Animal Aid to support its 'time for better science' campaign, which calls for the replacement of "outdated and cruel" lethal dose tests.
