LVMH has announced Philippe Farnier as the Executive Vice President International of Parfums Christian Dior, effective immediately.
This news comes just days after the French company announced changes in its Perfumes and Cosmetics Division, with Véronique Courtois taking the helm of Parfums Christian Dior.

Farnier succeeds Bruno Angibeau, who has served as Parfums Christian Dior’s Managing Director since 2011. In his new role, Philippe will be responsible for both local markets and travel retail of Parfums Christian Dior. He will report directly to Courtois.

This move is somewhat of a homecoming for Farnier, who was the General Manager of Perfums Christian Dior from 2008 to 2013, before a 7 year stint at Rémy Cointreau.

Philippe Farnier takes on the new role after leading LVMH’s Travel Retail for the Beauty division for the past year. During this time, he created an integrated organisation to leverage the group’s strength, whilst elevating the expression of each brand and controlling distribution.

He will keep his responsibilities as CEO of Travel Retail LVMH Beauty, working closely with Stéphane Rinderknech, the recently appointed chairman and CEO of LVMH’s Beauty Division.

Véronique Courtois commented: "I am delighted to see Philippe take charge of the commercial activities for Parfums Christian Dior. His 30 years’ experience, his strategic negotiation skills and his strong leadership will undoubtedly be key assets to further elevate and contribute to a new era of development of our Maison around the world."
