LVMH Beauty appoints President & CEO of Travel Retail
LVMH has announced the appointment of Philippe Farnier as its new President and CEO of Travel Retail at LVMH Beauty.
Farnier will be responsible for all travel retail activities under LVHM's beauty division and will also oversee the travel retail of Parfums Christian Dior. He will also help to ensure the group's portfolio is a "powerful but selective player" in the worldwide travel retail market, according to LVMH.
Farnier will also become a member of the LVMH Beauty Executive Committee and Parfums Christian Dior Executive Committee.
He joins LVMH from he has also held roles at Parfums Christian Dior, YSL Beauty and Heineken.
LVMH reported £1.6 billion (€1.9 billion) in revenues across its Perfume & Cosmetics sector in Q1 2022, up 23% against the same period in 2021. This was led by brands including Christian Dior, Guerlain and Givenchy.
