LYMA launches AI-powered skin analysis app to personalise anti-ageing routines
British brand LYMA has introduced a new digital platform designed to help users monitor and manage their at-home anti-ageing treatments using artificial intelligence and personalised guidance.
The new LYMA app incorporates AI-powered face-scanning technology trained on more than three million skin images, according to the company.
The app is designed to work across a range of skin tones and types. In addition to visible markers such as wrinkles and pigmentation, the analysis measures perceived age, eye ageing and skin tone uniformity.
As part of this, the system evaluates eight skin metrics - including lines, pigmentation, breakouts, dark circles, pores and sagging - and generates a skin score. Users are encouraged to complete scans every 30 days to track changes over time.
LYMA says the tool is intended to provide consumers with insights typically associated with clinical-grade assessments.
Alongside AI analysis, the platform offers personalised treatment protocols based on individual skin concerns and goals.
Users can log daily use of the company’s at-home laser device and supplement intake through a treatment tracker, while an integrated three-minute timer supports recommended laser session lengths.
The app also includes instructional videos, progress photography with date stamps, reminder notifications and access to customer support through what the company calls a “LYMA Concierge” service.
Lucy Goff, founder of LYMA, said: "The LYMA App customers the confidence to know they're using their products correctly, the clarity to see their skin changing at a cellular level, and the support to stay consistent - because that's how transformation actually happens.
"We've engineered a universe to counteract the impact of aging, and this app ensures every user can access that power."
The platform forms part of LYMA’s wider “Youth System”, which integrates supplements, laser technology and skincare products.
With the addition of AI-driven monitoring and digital support, the company is positioning the app as a tool to enhance treatment adherence and provide measurable progress tracking for users managing anti-ageing routines at home.
As consumer demand grows for personalised beauty and wellness technology, digital platforms that combine artificial intelligence with at-home devices are becoming an increasingly prominent feature of the sector.
