LYMA launches new skincare range formulated by plastic surgeons

LYMA, the British medical technology brand, has launched a new skincare range called the power youth system, which it says was created with plastic surgeons, geneticists and longevity scientists.

The range was built to "visibly re-engineer" skin across five mechanisms of skin ageing, as defined by the brand, as opposed to most premium skincare brands that address one or perhaps aspects.

The launch expands LYMA’s premium beauty and wellness platform, which spans supplements, the FDA-cleared LYMA Laser, digital skin analysis and gut health.

Founded by Lucy Goff in 2018, the company launched an AI-powered skin analysis app in February 2026 before entering gut health with LYMA ID² in June.

A five-part formulation framework

LYMA said the formulation of its new power youth system was led by cranio-facial and reconstructive surgeon Dr Graeme Glass PhD, who has spent years researching the space, and its Founder Goff, with input from geneticists, dermatologists and biochemical engineers.

Its proprietary Genolytic™ formulation technology was designed to address dehydration, barrier breakdown, oxidative stress, microbiome disruption and loss of structural integrity, representing the five areas of LYMA’s framework for visible skin ageing.

The power youth serum uses multi-weight hyaluronic systems, a dual-peptide complex, probiotic proteins and microalgae-derived exosome-inspired technology. The company positions the 50ml serum around immediate plumping and continued hydration.

The complementary power youth cream contains eight actives, including bakuchiol, ergothioneine, SNAP-8 peptide, L22® biomimetic lipids at 3%, multi-weight hyaluronic acids and expression-line peptides.

LYMA claims the cream has an active concentration above 60%, compared with levels of up to 20% in most topical skincare.

“At LYMA we always challenge what’s possible. These new skincare products are feats of scientific engineering backed by clinical results that completely change what customers can expect from topical skincare,” Goff commented.

In an independent clinical study that assessed the serum and cream together on 30 women aged between 35 and 65 over 28 days, LYMA reported hydration gains of up to 71%,  and improved skin-barrier performance of up to 49.7%, while elasticity improved by up to 50.2% and the appearance of redness fell by up to 44.9%.

Earlier this year LYMA launched its first gut health supplement, LYMA ID², marking the company's entry into a new product category.

The company also accelerated its expansion in the United States following a strong first full year in the market. The company entered the US in 2025 with the launch of the LYMA Laser PRO, an at-home skincare device positioned around clinical-grade technology.
