MAC Cosmetics appoints new GM to "drive business forward"
MAC Cosmetics has confirmed that "inspiring" leader Aïda Moudachirou-Rebois has been promoted from SVP Global Marketing to SVP General Manager to help push the business forward.
Effective 26 January, Moudachirou-Rebois will join the executive leadership team. She succeeds Philippe Pinatel, who has decided to step down after six years in the role to "pursue an outside opportunity".
Moudachirou-Rebois first joined MAC Cosmetics in 2021 to lead the Consumer and Product Marketing teams and deliver "breakthrough innovation through insights and analytics".
During her tenure, she helped champion brand positioning through high-profile launches with sophisticated media strategies, alongside the elevation of engagement across all channels.
She brings to her new role an "innovative and inspiring leadership style" and significant global brand-building expertise.
Moudachirou-Rebois said: "It is truly the opportunity of a lifetime to lead MAC Cosmetics – a brand that for the past 40 years has redefined the makeup category and the only brand that was able to accommodate my needs as a consumer for a long time.
"My love for MAC has only deepened since officially joining the cosmetics brand three years ago and witnessing firsthand our values in action across our incredibly talented team.
"As I step into this role, I feel a profound sense of responsibility to continue advancing the legacy of our founders who laid the blueprint for our ongoing success and am committed to making the next 40 years even more remarkable than the last by continuing to harness the power of our founding DNA while transforming to ensure we capture the next generation of consumers and artists."
