MAC Cosmetics bolsters customer experience with new 'Club MAC' retail concept
MAC Cosmetics is introducing a new retail concept - Club MAC- at its Carnaby Street store, transforming the space into an immersive, experience-led beauty destination.
Designed as a community-first space, the new concept aims to bring a "fresh approach" to beauty retail in an effort to increase customer engagement and drive store footfall.
It reflects the brand’s commitment to evolving the in-store experience to meet the needs of the modern beauty consumer. By focusing on driving appointment bookings, boosting dwell time, and fostering repeat visits, the brand aims to deliver a "standout experience on the high street".

Blending product discovery with entertainment, education, and live events, the revamped store promises a social, inclusive environment that celebrates creativity and self-expression.
As part of this, the space includes a range of experiential zones, including a "Get Ready With MAC" station, styled like a nightclub bathroom, where customers can experiment with new looks under the guidance of expert MAC Artists.
It will also host events such as drag bingo, live DJ sets, and Pro-led masterclasses, as well as exclusive in-store-only promotions, limited-edition product drops, and giveaways.
Pernilla Nyberg, Senior Vice President at MAC owner The Estee Lauder Companies, said: "With Club MAC we’re redefining what brick-and mortar beauty retail can be.
"It a physical extension of our brand’s DNA bold, expressive, and made for connection. It’s a space that invites our community not just to shop, but to stay, play, and engage."
