MAC Cosmetics’ Senior Vice President and Global General Manager, Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois, is set to exit the company after two years in the role, according to WWD.

Moudachirou-Rébois assumed the position in January 2024 following her promotion from Senior Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior to joining MAC Cosmetics, she held various senior leadership roles at Revlon, Johnson & Johnson and L’Oréal.

Her departure comes amid a wave of executive changes at both MAC Cosmetics and parent company The Estée Lauder Companies under CEO Stéphane de La Faverie.

These shifts include the appointment of Nicola Formichetti, who joined MAC as Global Creative Director in 2025, while Lisa Sequino was named President of Estée Lauder’s makeup brand cluster.

Elsewhere within the group, Estée Lauder also appointed Sara Staniford as General Manager for MAC Cosmetics, as well as Bobbi Brown and Too Faced, in the UK and Ireland last year.

The leadership reshuffle arrives as the company faces softer performance in its makeup category, with sales declining 2% in the three months ending 30 September 2025.
