MAC launches Doja Cat-inspired lip kit with 12-hour TikTok Shop live event
MAC Cosmetics has announced a new collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist and Global Brand Ambassador Doja Cat, alongside a TikTok Shop live activation taking place ahead of her performance at The O2 in London on 29 May.
The collaboration centres on the MAC x Doja Cat Gorgeous Nude Lip Kit, a limited-edition set co-created with Doja Cat. The product is inspired by her “Tour Ma Vie” stage makeup and focuses on a defined neutral lip look, pairing Honeylove lipstick with Chestnut lip liner.
To mark the launch, MAC is running a 12-hour livestream on TikTok Shop (10am–10pm) today, which the brand says is its first global ambassador-led activation on the platform. The stream is being broadcast from a MAC store in central London.
During the livestream, MAC Pro Artists are demonstrating how to recreate selected looks from Doja Cat’s tour, while showcasing the limited-edition kits and related bundles available for purchase.
The American rapper and singer is also expected to participate in the activation, travelling across London on a branded MAC bus before making a scheduled appearance during the TikTok Live session.

Emily Caine, Head of Beauty at TikTok, said: "The TikTok Shop community connects most powerfully through entertainment, creativity and live experiences.
"MAC consistently creates unmissable live beauty moments, and this collaboration with Doja Cat is set to bring fans even closer to the artistry, energy and excitement behind the brand."
The initiative follows what MAC describes as a strong first month of activity on TikTok Shop, where the brand has recently launched in the UK.
The rollout introduced a discovery-led commerce approach that combines in-store live broadcast studios with an employee affiliate programme. Through this model, MAC aims to reach new audiences while selling products directly via TikTok Shop alongside live demonstrations from trained MAC Pro Artists.
The announcement also follows the relaunch of MAC Cosmetics’ digital editorial platform, MACzine, with its first issue featuring Doja Cat earlier this year.
