Marks & Spencer has secured another heavyweight name for its fast-evolving Beauty Hall, welcoming British spa and skincare brand ESPA into 105 stores nationwide and online.

The launch marks a significant expansion moment for ESPA, which for more than 30 years has been best known for its presence in five-star spas and specialist retail. Now, through M&S’s national footprint, the brand is stepping firmly into accessible luxury territory - bringing its spa-grade, aromatherapy-led formulas to a broader consumer base.

For M&S, the partnership underscores its ambition to reposition beauty as a premium, curated and experience-led category. As the retailer continues to overhaul its Beauty Halls, it has increasingly focused on trusted heritage brands with strong wellness credentials - ESPA fits the bill.

Founded in 1992 by spa pioneer Sue Harmsworth, and owned by THG since 2017, ESPA built its reputation on holistic, nature-powered skincare designed to nurture both skin and senses. Its product lineup blends essential oils, plant actives and advanced formulations, spanning skincare, bath and body, and home fragrance. Hero products, including the Balancing Foam Cleanser, will sit alongside aromatherapy oils, candles and more.

The move reflects a wider shift within beauty retail, as spa-inspired wellness continues to gain momentum beyond specialist environments. Consumers are increasingly seeking products that deliver not just results, but ritual and retailers are responding by bringing wellbeing-led brands onto the high street.

Gemma Bosanko, Head of Brand Marketing at ESPA, said: "We’re thrilled to welcome ESPA to M&S Beauty - this launch reflects the continued growth of our curated beauty offering, bringing together premium brands and our own trusted favourites to delight customers, while elevating our wellness and skincare proposition."
