Chinese lifestyle retailer MINISO is opening at The Liberty Romford this spring, following a successful pop-up at the retail destination.

The new 2,270 sq ft store will provide customers with an "immersive" shopping experience, featuring a wide selection of beauty, lifestyle and pop culture products.

Saad Usman, Chief Operating Officer at MINISO, said: "At MINISO, we’re all about bringing a little more fun, style, and affordability into everyday life, and we can’t wait for people to explore our range of products—from beloved brands such as Sanrio and Disney, to adorable plushies to quirky gadgets, stylish homeware, and so much more."

Founded by Ye Guofu, MINISO has opened more than 5,800 stores in over 100 countries and regions, including the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Spain, UAE, India and Mexico.

The new store bolsters MINSO's UK expansion and capitalises on The Liberty Romford's annual footfall of 13.4 million.

It follows a number of recent openings at shopping centre, including Rituals, joining anchor brands Primark, Marks & Spencer, NEXT, Flannels and H&M.

Daniel Tucker, Leasing Manager at The Liberty Romford, said: "MINISO has a clear vision of expansion, which, as London’s number one satellite shopping centre for retail spend, The Liberty Romford can contribute greatly to.

"Not only that, but MINISO epitomises an engaged and dynamic shopping experience, qualities, which are equally embedded in our own customer journey and as such, this latest signing marks an exciting moment for us both."
