Neal’s Yard Remedies expands new store concept with East London boutique
Neal’s Yard Remedies has opened a new boutique in Spitalfields, London, marking the second iteration of its “Store of the Future” concept as the brand continues to evolve its retail experience.
Located in an area known for its artisanal heritage and local produce market, the new store draws on the brand’s apothecary roots while aiming to create a more immersive, sensory-led retail environment.
The boutique has been designed using sustainably sourced materials and includes several distinctive features, such as a preserved oak tree inspired by the brand’s philosophy of balancing outer beauty with inner wellbeing.
Neal’s Yard Remedies’ signature blue glass bottles are also displayed throughout the space alongside bespoke blue ceramic tiles, while an apothecary-style aromatherapy wall showcases its essential oils and wellbeing products.
Customers can also access complimentary skincare and wellbeing consultations with the brand’s in-store advisors.

The opening follows the refurbishment of the brand’s Covent Garden flagship store, which first introduced the “Store of the Future” concept.
The updated retail format is intended to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers through a stronger focus on sustainability and customer experience.
The company also recently signed a 10-year lease for an 873 sq ft unit at Manchester Arndale, relocating from its existing King Street location into a former Claire’s unit.
The new store will feature the same retail concept and offer skincare, bath and body products, essential oils, herbal remedies and wellness gifts.

It comes as Neal's Yard Remedies expands its Wild Rosehip skincare range with the launch of the Wild Rosehip Glow Cleansing Oil and Wild Rosehip Glow Cream.
According to the company, the new products combine antioxidant-rich natural ingredients with updated formulations and textures.
