Neal’s Yard Remedies has agreed a 10-year lease on an 873 sq ft unit at Manchester Arndale, relocating from its current King Street store in Manchester into the former Claire’s unit.

Reflecting its apothecary heritage, the store will be designed to create a sensory retail environment, offering personalised wellbeing advice and allowing customers to explore natural beauty solutions.

It will feature the brand's new "store of the future" concept, showcasing a range of skincare, bath and body products, essential oils, herbal remedies and wellness gifts.

Anabel Kindersley, CEO and co-owner of Neal’s Yard Remedies, said: "We are thrilled to be opening our new store at Manchester Arndale - bringing our store of the future concept that we’ve pioneered at our Flagship store in London to this vibrant city.

"We look forward to serving Manchester's beauty community, offering our award-winning formulations and a personalised in-store experience tailored to every customer's wellbeing need."

The addition of Neal’s Yard Remedies continues leasing activity at Manchester Arndale, following a period of new signings across retail, leisure and food and beverage, including Arc’teryx, Pro:Direct, Sephora, XF Gym, Hotel Chocolat, and Wingstop UKI.

Scott Linard, Portfolio Manager for M&G Real Estate, said: "We are delighted to welcome Neal’s Yard Remedies to Manchester Arndale. Securing a 10-year commitment from such a respected and established brand, particularly as it relocates from the renowned King Street, is a major endorsement of the strength of our offer."

Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, added: "By continually enhancing our offer with best-in-class retailers, we are creating a destination that meets the evolving needs of shoppers across Manchester and beyond, driving footfall and supporting long-term growth across the scheme."

It follows the brand's reimagined Covent Garden flagship, which introduced the new retail concept described as a "store of the future". The refurbishment reflects an updated approach designed to appeal to today’s environmentally conscious consumers.

Alongside its retail offer, the store also hosts workshops, seasonal events and complimentary consultations, including restorative hand and arm massages, rejuvenating facials and other treatments.
