New brand ROCCO debuts with ‘neurocosmetic’ skincare range

A new skincare brand, ROCCO, is set to launch exclusively in Boots stores on 17 June, introducing what it describes as a neurocosmetic approach that combines skincare ingredients with sensory-focused formulation.

The brand was founded by broadcaster, creative and entrepreneur Laura Jackson following what she describes as frustration with increasingly complex skincare routines and products that failed to deliver an enjoyable user experience. It aims to combine skincare efficacy with a focus on emotional wellbeing and everyday rituals.

The range has been developed for consumers who are knowledgeable about skincare ingredients but may feel overwhelmed by extensive routines.

Formulated by a Vogue 100 Innovator, the products focus on plant-based ingredients, clinically supported actives and sensory elements designed to enhance the overall skincare experience. Central to this approach is FaceFeels, a proprietary fragrance developed using Aroma Wellness technology.

“ROCCO came from a very real place, I was using products that promised everything, but none of them made me feel good. Skincare had started to feel overwhelming, overly complicated and, at times, quite joyless," said Jackson.

“I wanted to create something that brought it back to basics, products that are credible and effective, but also uplifting to use. Because how you feel in your skin is just as important as how it looks.

“We’re not here to chase perfection. We’re here to create moments- small, everyday rituals that boost confidence, shift your mood and make you feel more like yourself.”

The brand also highlights refillable packaging and a community-led approach, with a focus on transparency, sustainability and consumer engagement.

The initial product range includes:

Soft Reset Foaming Cleanser (£16, 120ml)

A foaming cleanser formulated with baobab, probiotics and arugula extract to cleanse the skin while supporting hydration and skin barrier function.

Triple Up Hydrating 3-in-1 Toner & Primer (£16, 30ml)

A multi-purpose toner and primer containing baobab, hyaluronic acid and fractionated coconut oil, promising to hydrate the skin while preparing it for makeup application.

Sunshine Dew Glow Essence (£18, 30ml)

A lightweight essence formulated with baobab, saccharide isomerate and lactic acid, designed to support hydration, skin balance and radiance.

Additional products in the launch range include a TLC Melt Hydrating Balm Cleanser and Cloud Bounce Hydrating Moisturiser.
