New data reveals top skincare ingredients of 2024
As consumers become increasingly savvy about their skincare choices, the search for effective, science-driven ingredients has never been more pronounced.
New data from digital marketing agency Foundation has revealed salicylic acid as the most searched for skincare ingredient in 2024.
Featured in some of the most in-demand skincare products of the year, this exfoliating ingredient that targets acne, unclogs pores and reduces inflammation clutches the top spot with 60,500 total searches on average each month.
Following this is retinol and retinoids, which target everything from fine lines and wrinkles to acne and pigmentation, with 49,500 average monthly searches.
Hyaluronic acid, widely known for its hydrating benefits, comes in third with 49,500 average monthly searches.
