Nicole Kidman invests in haircare brand Vegamour

Hair wellness brand Vegamour has announced a strategic partnership with Nicole Kidman, which will see the actress become an investor and brand advocate.

Taking a holistic approach to hair wellness, Vegamour's products address the symptoms and underlying causes of visible hair damage, thinning and loss.

Using plant-based ingredients, the brand creates products for hair, lashes and brows. This includes a GRO Revitalising Shampoo and Conditioner, vegaLASH Volumising Serum and ENSO Overnight Restoring Hair Mask.

The partnership is the first step in the company's global expansion plans, launching into over 400 Sephora doors and into the UK, Europe, China and Australia this year.

The collaboration was also formed over a shared interest in environmental and social values, including a commitment to protecting biodiversity and sourcing ingredients through fair-trade partnerships.

Dan Hodgdon, Co-founder and CEO of Vegamour, said: "We hadn't set out looking for a partner, but once I met Nicole it just made sense. We're aligned across the board, from the importance of a natural, holistic approach to optimal hair wellness, to our focus on sustainability, biodiversity, social impact and product efficacy."

Commenting on the partnership, Nicole Kidman, added: "Once I learned about where Vegamour source ingredients and how they are supporting those communities through ethical harvesting, I knew that I wanted to support that mission."
