No7 unveils new collection featuring "world-first" peptide technology

Following the unveiling of its "world first" peptide technology last month, No7 has developed four new products to help reverse the appearance of multiple signs of skin damage. 

The collection includes No7's new "super peptide" blend for the first time, representing the "biggest cosmetic science innovation" in the brand’s history. It works to harness the skin’s natural repair process and the renewal of over 50 key proteins in skin cells.

Created with skin scientists at the University of Manchester, the super peptide blend is the result of 15 years of research into skin ageing and repair. It is set to be "one of the most effective and tolerated skincare ingredients on the cosmetic market".

Dr Mike Bell, Head of Science Research at No7, said: "Skin damage happens throughout our lives and is caused by multiple factors including sun exposure, environmental pollution, stress, sleep, temperature and nutrition.

"The new blend effectively tricks the skin into thinking that it has been damaged, which leads to renewal of key proteins such as collagen and fibrillin. It therefore supports skin’s natural self-repair mechanisms, targeting signs of cumulative damage both on and under the surface. This is a world-first technology and we believe it is going to be a game changer for consumers."

Last month, the innovation was presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting in the US, British Society for Investigative Dermatology Annual Meeting in Glasgow and International Societies for Investigative Dermatology meeting in Tokyo. 

The Future Renew Damage Reversal collection 

No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Serum | 25ml 

The serum works to reverse the visible signs of skin damage, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, and dry skin. In addition to the super peptide blend, the product also contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, mulberry and hydrolysed rice proteins.

No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal SPF 40 Day Cream | 50ml 

The day cream protects skin against UV and helps to reverse the visible signs of skin damage, such as the feeling of dryness and loss of elasticity.​ It contains SPF 40 and No7’s new super peptide blend, along with an antioxidant blend, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and rice proteins.​

No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Night Cream | 50ml 

The night cream is formulated to support skin's natural self-repair process while sleeping and reverse the visible signs of skin damage.​ It contains the new super peptide blend, as well as other nourishing ingredients including shea butter, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.

No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Eye Serum | 15ml 

Developed  for  the delicate eye area, the eye serum works to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness to help skin look more even. In addition to No7's super peptide blend, the eye serum contains hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, an antioxidant blend and rice proteins.​

The Future Renew Damage Reversal range will be available in-store and online at Boots from 12 April 2023.
