NYX hooks up with Tinder for Manchester pop-up
NYX Professional Makeup is teaming up with Tinder to bring an immersive "dating-meets-beauty" experience to the city this weekend.
Following its debut at Westfield London from 13-15 February, The Wonder Date Lounge is heading north for a one-day-only pop-up at the Trafford Centre on 20 February, open from 10am to 10pm.
As part of this, the space is designed to help visitors find their perfect match - in love and in foundation.
Key experiences include The Bestie Bathroom, where makeup artists will shade match visitors to the brand’s new Make ‘Em Wonder Foundation. Guests will also receive a sample to take home, along with a discount code to use in-store at Boots.
Visitors can also take advantage of a photo booth to capture a Tinder-ready profile picture, as well as access games for the chance to win a Tinder Gold Membership or full-size NYX Cosmetics products.
Plus, guests will receive a NYX goodie bag containing a selection of "makeup date essentials".

This isn’t NYX’s first pop-up collaboration, having previously brought a slice of beach paradise to Covent Garden with a Barbie-themed event in the summer of 2023 to celebrate the film’s release.
It comes as shoppers seek more immersive, entertainment-driven retail options, with demand for experiences that go beyond simple transactions.
This concept is particularly popular across beauty, with more and more brands and retailers hosting activations like pop-ups to entice consumers and drive brand awareness, engagement and sales.
