Luxury skincare brand Omorovicza has appointed Emma Bates as Chief Financial & Operating Officer.

Bates brings more than 20 years of experience across finance and operations, with a background spanning both the apparel and beauty industries.

She joins from S’able Labs, the skincare brand founded by Idris and Sabrina Elba, where she held the same joint role overseeing financial management and day-to-day operations under a single executive remit.

Prior to this, Bates served as Chief Operating Officer at bodycare brand Crabtree & Evelyn, as well as Head of Finance at Uniqlo Europe for almost six years.

Her appointment follows a series of senior hires at Omorovicza, including the arrival of Pauline Singh as Chief Marketing Officer in March 2026.

Singh previously held the role of Director for the UK & Ireland at beauty giant Sol de Janeiro. She also spent over 14 years at L'Oréal, where she held several senior roles.

Omorovicza also appointed Harrison Gregory as General Manager for the UK, EMEA and APAC in November 2023. He joined from Grown Alchemist, having previously spent eight years at Elemis in senior sales and regional management positions.

Gregory was appointed to oversee sales, education, marketing and the Omorovicza Institute spa concept across his markets, with a focus on existing luxury retail partners and further expansion of the Institute.

Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza, a husband-and-wife team, founded the brand around 2000 in Budapest, drawing inspiration from the city’s historic thermal baths. The couple developed a skincare range inspired by the mineral-rich waters and their benefits for the skin.

Omorovicza now operates across luxury retail, spa and direct-to-consumer channels. Its UK distribution includes Harrods, Selfridges and Lookfantastic, alongside the brand’s own ecommerce platform.
