Orean CEO takes on endurance challenge to support Look Good Feel Better
Dan Williams, CEO of Orean - a private-label cosmetics formulator and manufacturer - is embarking on an endurance challenge to raise funds for Look Good Feel Better, a charity that supports people facing cancer with their cosmetic appearance and wellbeing during treatment.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Williams announced that he has already raised enough to fund two of the charity’s workshops, now reaching 98% of his fundraising goal of £2,500 before the event officially begins later this week.
His challenge? An indoor ultra-endurance feat: 50km rowing, 250km cycling, and 50km running - all completed back-to-back within the confines of his garage.
The effort is aimed at supporting Look Good Feel Better, which provides support to people undergoing cancer treatment through workshops that boost self-esteem and confidence.
Established over 30 years ago, the charity has provided support to over 220,000 men, women and young adults during their cancer journey to date.
During its workshops, experienced volunteers provide advice on a range of appearance-related concerns, including dry or sensitive skin, redness, sallow complexion, and how to recreate missing eyebrows.
For male participants, local barbers also offer tailored guidance on shaving, skincare, scarring, and sun protection.
Williams’ challenge and the funds raised will support Look Good Feel Better’s new Men’s Cancer Support Programme, helping to provide "vital resources" for men facing cancer.
