Ostens, the exclusive perfume brand created by United Perfumes founders Christopher Yu and Laurent Delafon, is gearing up for a move into home fragrance with the launch of its first candle range.

Slated to launch in early 2022, the new candle collection has been inspired by the brand’s existing fragrance offer: A range of six Eau de Parfums, each of which has been paired with a unique oil containing the raw material ingredient that inspired its creation.

The new candle collection will include a uniquely formulated rose scent (inspired by Ostens' Rose Oil Isparta fragrance) which took many months to perfect.

Revealing the news of the coming launch in the latest episode of TheIndustry.fashion's The Beauty Edit Podcast, Yu said: “Fragrance is a way to travel without moving and in the past year people with people being stuck at home, fragrance has really come to the fore as they looked for an escape of sorts.

“That’s what’s inspired us with Ostens, first to launch the Discovery Set, but now to also enter the home fragrance category.

“The next release of products planned for next year is candles that give you the same olfactory sensations of smelling the raw ingredients that the existing Eau de Parfums and Preparation Oils do,” he said.
