Pattern Beauty by Tracee Ellis Ross appoints new co-CEO

Pattern Beauty has named Christiane Pendarvis as co-CEO, sharing the title with brand founder Tracee Ellis Ross.

Pendarvis joins Pattern Beauty from Savage X Fenty by Rihanna, where she held the position of Co-President until June this year.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors at telehealth company hims & hers and social media management firm Hootsuite, where she is also Nomination and Governance Committee Chair.

Launched in 2018, Pattern Beauty is the brainchild of actor Ellis Ross. It celebrates Black beauty and works to be an active space for "uplifting and loving the community’s natural beauty".

The appointment of Pendarvis signals a new era of growth for the business, which is dedicated to innovating the natural hair category.
